Role overview
LMC Agency is a Vietnam-based end-to-end eCommerce growth partner. We help brands grow on Shopee and TikTok Shop through full-stack services: store operations, marketplace advertising, fulfillment, compliance, and market research. Team of approximately 20 specialists.
Commercial Manager owns cross-category commercial performance across LMC’s eCom Operations client portfolio. You manage a team of four: Senior Commercial Executive, Commercial Executive, Commercial Associate, and Junior Design. You set commercial direction across assigned accounts, hold the team to delivery standards, run senior client conversations, and protect departmental performance against churn and quality regressions.
This role is for an operator who has both the platform depth to call category strategy and the people instincts to grow an executive team into senior contributors.
Reporting and authority
- Reports to: GM
- Direct reports: Senior Commercial Executive, Commercial Executive, Commercial Associate, Junior Design (4 direct reports)
- Authority: People decisions (hiring panel, promotion, performance); client-facing commercial decisions within scope; department-level commercial performance against the assigned client pool
Key responsibilities
Commercial performance
- Own incremental NMV vs baseline across the eCom Operations client pool - set targets at quarter start with GM, track and intervene mid-quarter when accounts drift
- Read account health early; escalate at-risk clients before churn signals reach the client side; hold root-cause reviews when a client churns within 6 months
- Set cross-category direction for assigned accounts: assortment depth, promotion calendars, listing optimization priorities, ad allocation across platforms
- Run quality checks on Shopee and TikTok Shop execution across the team - catch issues an executive at the desk would miss; coach back into the team
People management
- Run weekly 1:1s with all direct reports; maintain individual development plans; hold quarterly performance reviews on time
- Grow Juniors into Experienced Juniors and Experienced Juniors into senior contributors; coach the Senior Commercial Executive on track-specific depth
- Manage team utilization against committed client load; re-balance across the team when accounts shift; flag capacity constraints to GM before they bite
- Run performance conversations when gates are missed; distinguish coaching conversations from performance conversations
Client leadership
- Own senior client relationships across the portfolio: brand founders, marketing leads, internal eCom heads
- Run quarterly business reviews; surface uncomfortable conversations early
- Resolve escalations that exceed executive authority; escalate to GM only when the issue is genuinely above your line
- Coordinate with Brand Protection, Market Research, and Training teams when account scope requires it
Quality and compliance
- Hold the team to internal SOPs across Performance Marketing Ops, Reporting and Client Comms, Customer Support, and Store Build and UX
- Ensure client reporting ships on time and on quality; spot-check team output; intervene on errors before they reach the client
- Hold a working view of regulatory and platform compliance risks across assigned accounts; escalate compliance ambiguity rather than absorb it
Tools you will use
- Shopee Seller Center and TikTok Shop Seller Center - executive-level operating fluency required; you should be able to spot a misconfigured campaign or a broken listing without help
- Odoo (Project, Timesheet, CRM modules) - team load, client status, and pipeline tracking
- Google Drive - reports, briefs, performance reviews
- Zalo and Email - primary client and team communication channels
Required skills
Strong proficiency
- eCommerce fundamentals end-to-end: listings, promotions, customer service mechanics on Shopee and TikTok Shop
- Sales data analysis: reads platform data, separates signal from noise, ties numbers to category decisions
- Product optimization and category strategy across multiple brands
- Digital marketing on platform: ads, traffic, conversion levers on Shopee and TikTok Shop
- Customer relationship management with senior brand stakeholders
Solid proficiency
- Performance reporting - shapes report structure; ensures output reaches client without rework
- Campaign management - runs campaign approvals across the team; spots execution risk before launch
- Data literacy - reads dashboards critically; pushes back on metrics that flatter
- Oral and written communication in Vietnamese with clients; English for internal documentation
- Team leadership - sets expectations clearly; coaches against them consistently
- Problem solving and structured root-cause analysis
Foundation level
- Inventory and supply chain coordination: sees fulfillment risk before it surfaces as churn
- Regulatory and compliance awareness: Vietnam eCommerce context
- Agile and sprint practice
- Strategic thinking: connects departmental decisions to LMC’s broader direction
What we look for
- 4-6 years in commercial, eCommerce operations, or category management - agency or in-house brand context
- At least 2 years managing direct reports with a demonstrable track record of growing executives into senior contributors
- Owned a multi-account portfolio with departmental P&L accountability, not single-account ownership
- Deep operating fluency on Shopee and TikTok Shop; opinions on what works and why
- Comfortable running quarterly business reviews with founders and senior brand stakeholders in Vietnamese
- Vietnam eCommerce fluent: ICP categories, platform dynamics, ad cost trends, regulatory shifts

- Salary: 29 - 42+ triệu VND / month (Fixed: 18 - 25M + Performance pool: 11 - 17M, with quarterly accelerator above target)
