Overview
This document defines what LMC’s Product Listing Optimization service contains, how we deliver it, what the client receives, and where its scope ends. It is the source of truth for sales conversations, contract drafting, and delivery scope.
Product Listing Optimization is one of five a-la-carte Marketplace Operations services. It is also a component bundled inside Managed Marketplace Operations at no separate charge. This page covers the standalone, fixed-scope version - the lower-commitment option for clients who want their listings fixed without a full operations retainer.
What it is
Product Listing Optimization is the listing-quality step. It answers one question: “Are my Shopee and TikTok Shop listings built to platform best practice so they get found and convert?”
LMC rewrites and optimizes your listings - keywords, titles, attributes, descriptions, image ordering - to platform best practice, as a fixed-scope project with a clear before/after record.
Product Listing Optimization is right for you if:
- You have a live store with listed products that underperform on search or conversion.
- Your titles, descriptions, or attributes were written quickly and never optimized.
- You want listings fixed once, properly, without committing to a managed retainer.
- You run your own store but want a specialist to bring listings up to standard.
What it is not
Product Listing Optimization is the wrong service if:
- You have no store, or the store needs a structural rebuild - start with Store Build & UX.
- You want listings continuously managed alongside ads, campaigns, and buyer chat - that is Managed Marketplace Operations.
- You need ads set up or managed - that is Paid Ads Management.
- You expect a guaranteed search ranking - ranking depends on the platform algorithm, competition, price, and reviews, which are outside our control.
If you want listings managed continuously rather than fixed once, route to Managed Marketplace Operations.
Process
A fixed-scope project, roughly four weeks from kickoff to handoff.
- Listing audit (Week 1). We score every in-scope SKU against a fixed checklist - keyword coverage, title structure, attribute completeness, description quality, image count and compliance - and produce a written audit scorecard with priority ranking.
- Keyword research (Week 1-2). Platform-specific keyword research per SKU using platform keyword tools: search volume, competition, intent. The output is a keyword map per SKU.
- Optimization (Week 2-3). We rewrite titles, descriptions, and attributes within platform specs, and re-order and select images from your existing asset set for conversion. Image gaps are flagged back to you as a brief. We do not produce new images or video within this service.
- Implementation (Week 3). All changes are applied directly in Seller Center under sub-account access, with mobile preview QA on every SKU.
- Handoff report (Week 4). A before/after comparison, an optimization log per SKU, and a 30-day watch note on which listings to monitor for ranking movement.
What this means for you: the work is scored, documented, and bounded. You see exactly what each listing looked like before and after, and you keep a clear record of what changed.
Deliverables
On completion, you receive:
- Listing audit scorecard - written, with all in-scope SKUs ranked by priority.
- Keyword map - per SKU, target keywords and placement.
- Optimization log - per SKU, what changed, before and after.
- Updated live listings - titles, descriptions, attributes, and image order applied in Seller Center.
- Handoff report - before/after summary plus a 30-day watch note.
Price
Packaging mode: Fixed-scope project, with an optional light-retainer refresh.

Scope basis: one platform per project. Multi-platform means separate projects. SKU counts above 50 require Head of Department scoping; overflow is not absorbed into the fixed price.

How it connects to the rest of LMC
Product Listing Optimization is a point-in-time project. It is often the first paid step a client takes with LMC, or a targeted fix for a client who otherwise runs their own store.

If you want listings managed continuously rather than fixed once, the full retainer is Managed Marketplace Operations - listing optimization is included inside it at no separate charge. This standalone project is the on-ramp.
Out of scope
- Ongoing store operations. This is a point-in-time project, not a managed retainer. Ad management, campaign orchestration, and daily store running are Managed Marketplace Operations scope.
- Image and video production. We re-order, select, and compliance-check existing images. Listing graphics and infographics are available via the Design Service. Product photography and video are client-supplied or referred out.
- Store build or rebuild. If the store does not exist or needs a structural rebuild, that is Store Build & UX. This service assumes a live store with listed products.
- Advertising. No ad setup or management. That is Paid Ads Management or Managed Marketplace Operations.
- Ranking or sales guarantees. We optimize to platform best practice. Search ranking and conversion depend on the platform algorithm, competition, price, and reviews - factors outside LMC’s control. The handoff report documents what was changed; it does not warrant a ranking position.
- Non-Vietnam platforms. Shopee VN and TikTok Shop VN only. Lazada and others require Head of Department pre-approval.
