Overview
This document defines what LMC’s Website Development service contains, how we deliver it, what the client receives, and how it is priced. It is the source of truth for sales conversations, contract drafting, and delivery scope.
Website Development builds brand websites - D2C storefronts and content sites - so a brand owns a sales and brand channel beyond the marketplaces. It is one of LMC’s Creative & Web services, alongside the Design Service.
What it is
Website Development gives a brand a channel it owns. It answers one question: “Do we have a web presence we control, beyond our Shopee and TikTok Shop storefronts?”
We build:
- D2C brand storefronts - the brand’s own website where customers can learn about and buy products, with checkout, payment integration, and order management.
- Content sites - brand, corporate, or campaign sites that exist beyond the marketplaces.
Website Development is right for you if:
- Your only web presence today is your marketplace storefronts, and you want a channel you control.
- You need a credible brand website for customers, partners, or distributors.
- You want a D2C site to complement, not replace, your marketplace operations.
What it is not
This service builds websites. It does not build marketplace storefronts, and it does not build custom software. Two boundaries that matter:
- Shopee and TikTok Shop store setup is Store Build & UX, not this service.
- Custom apps, platforms, and software products are general software engineering - a paused LMC service. Website Development builds websites, not software.
Website Development is the wrong service if:
- You need a Shopee or TikTok Shop storefront built or rebuilt - that is Store Build & UX.
- You need a custom mobile app, SaaS platform, or bespoke software system - general software engineering is referred out.

Process
- Discovery and scope (Week 1-2). We define site goals, the page map, structure, the content and asset inventory, and the technical approach. We produce a written scope document and a sitemap. You confirm before the build starts.
- Design. Wireframes and visual design. The visual layer can be supplied by LMC’s Design Service or by the client’s own design resource.
- Build. We develop and configure the site to the agreed scope - CMS configured, integrations wired, payment gateway connected where required.
- QA and launch. Cross-device and cross-browser testing, Core Web Vitals benchmark, deploy to your domain, and handoff. Analytics confirmed before go-live.
- Post-launch support. A 12-month warranty after launch - verified bug fixes included at no charge. Changes beyond bug fixes, and any work after the warranty window, are billed as maintenance.
Delivery model and stack. Default build: a modern static-site stack (Astro + Cloudflare Pages - LMC’s own stack); Shopify or WooCommerce for D2C storefronts; a managed site builder where the client’s needs call for it. The stack is confirmed per engagement during discovery.
Deliverables
What you receive:
- Scope document and sitemap - written, agreed before the build.
- Wireframes and visual design - approved before the build.
- Live website - deployed on your own domain, with full owner access.
- QA sign-off document - cross-device and performance benchmarks confirmed.
- Handoff document - how to update the site, where things live, and the support terms.
- Full domain, hosting, and codebase transfer - the site and all access are yours at handoff.
Price
Packaging mode: Custom project quote. Every website has different specs - there is no fixed package price. Each engagement is scoped, hour-estimated, and presented as one fixed project price.

How a project is quoted
- Scope the site - page map, features, integrations.
- Estimate hours by tier.
- Apply the Junior / Senior blend.
- Present one custom project price.
The hourly tiers are the internal build block. The client sees a single fixed project quote - not an open hourly meter. You sign a fixed number.

Website Development is a-la-carte and stands on its own. It also pairs with other LMC services.

A D2C website complements marketplace operations - it does not replace them. It gives a brand a channel it owns alongside its Shopee and TikTok Shop presence.
Out of scope
- Marketplace storefronts. Shopee and TikTok Shop store setup is Store Build & UX, not this service. Website Development is brand website / D2C web only.
- Custom software, apps, and platforms. General software engineering is a paused LMC service. Website Development builds websites, not software products. Software and app requests are referred out.
- Ongoing web-app feature development. This service delivers a website build. Continuous product or feature development after launch is out of scope; upkeep is the maintenance retainer, and a major new build is a new scope.
- Content and copywriting. The client supplies site content and copy, or it is scoped separately. Website Development builds the site; it does not write the content.
- Photography. Client-supplied. LMC’s Design Service covers graphics and brand identity only - not photography.
- Hosting and domain fees. Paid by the client directly to the provider. LMC does not hold, advance, or mark up hosting or domain costs.
- Site marketing. SEO content, ads, and traffic generation for the website are separate services, not part of the build.
- Cross-border. Vietnam-market focus. Non-VN scope requires GM pre-approval.
How to engage
